Presentation Evening

The 1st, 2nd and junior teams had their presentation evening on Saturday 1st September. It was a great evening up at the club with well over 60 people packing the place out. The club also said goodbye to Seb Langridge, our overseas player, after a very successful summer with us. Seb even performed the haka for us, something that will live long in the memory! Congratulations to all our winners.

Richard Kitt was awarded the ALan Baxter award for clubman of the year for all his work as secretary, arranging teams and successfully skippering the 2s. The Cliff Heather award went to Colts manager Chris Lambert for his hard work retaining our CLubmark status and overseeing three very exceptional colts teams through a very wet summer. Dave Kitt won Outstanding Performance of the Season for taking the first 7 wicket haul by a club member since 2007.

The 3rd team awards are still to be decided by the final game of the season, but the 1st team batting trophy was awarded to Seb Langridge, the bowling trophy to Pete Grant. In the second team, Russell North won the batting trophy and Dave Kitt the bowling trophy. All in all a very fun evening!
